Howden x Royal Ascot
Concept ideation, copywriting and project development of this award-winning creative campaign for global insurance broker Howden's 2024 partnership with Royal Ascot. Playing on a triple meaning, my creative concept gave a humorous nod to British foibles, and was supported by stunning photography from Tom Shaw in the style of 18th Century painter George Stubbs.​​​​​​​
Appearing on billboards across London, and throughout the national press in the weeks before and during Royal Ascot, the campaign was hugely successful in raising Howden's profile as a unique alternative to the competition, and was a significant milestone in the brand's differentiation journey. The campaign won the Brand Design Society Gold Award, and a bronze Drum Award.
